The history of SurfSkate in Brazil
In Brazil, the first indications of surfskate were largely through surfers and lifestyle enthusiasts who rode surf simulators on avenues near the beach simply for fun.
The rapid adoption of new adherents spurred the formation of SurfSkate groups to organize community rides and participation in social events.
Starting in 2014, the first surfskate championships were held in Brazil, along with various other events and frequent content production, leading to the peak of the sport in Brazil in 2021.
During this time, manufacturers developed new technologies for surfskate, making the equipment more accessible in the national market.
All of this combined has contributed to Brazil currently being considered one of the most influential countries in the Global SurfSkate. Check it out!
